Thomas Keeper 10'0 Longboard Surfboard

10'0" x 23 3/8" x 3 1/4" 82.9L

"It’s fair to say that the Keeper is my ideal longboard. There’s something about the balance of design attributes that really sits well with me. It’s got a hint of Aussie 60’s power surfing in the subtle hips and tail pod, a touch of California influence in the surface area of the nose, a bit of my own love sweat and tears in the foiled 50/50 rails, and well, it’s just pleasing to the eye. Nothing really stands out when you look at the Keeper, it’s all subtle and measured, and in my eyes that’s something to be proud of.

We’ve been making the Keeper for a long time, and it’s by far produced the most amount of positive feedback - from all over the world and from all levels of surfers - for me as a shaper. Devon Howard rode the model religiously for around five years, and the surfing he did on it, particularly at Malibu and Rincon, was very gratifying. If he wasn’t in a longboard conspiracy to take over the Channel Islands HP shortboard division I dare say he’d still be riding one. Hah.

But yeah, the Keeper is a real go-to, all round log for waves from knee to head high. A long, medium width and blended nose concave flows into a subtle roll through the back end of the board. The rails in the nose and tail are quite foiled, and through the middle it’s simple and effective 50/50 rails.

The Keeper is everything I’ve ever wanted in a longboard, all perfectly balanced and rolled into one. If I could only have one longboard sitting in my garage, it would be a 10’1” Keeper. I guess it’s just never let me down."

Optimal Wave Size: Knee to head high

Skill Level: Beginner to advanced

Board Feel: Fast, smooth and stable

Rail Shape: 50/50

Notes on Outline Shape: Not too hippy not to straight, enough width up front to plant both feet
