Thomas Hariot 9'6 Longboard Surfboard

9'6" x 22 7/8" x 3" 72.3L

Heavily inspired by everything we love about Aussie Old Mals, the Hariot is an involvement style longboard. It has refined and foiled out rails, a rolled bottom/belly and a smooth gradual rocker throughout. Think Nat and Bob at Noosa in 1966.

The outline has a stumpy thumb tail that allows for smooth rail-to-rail surfing and a narrow nose forfitting in the tightest of pockets. Unlike most narrow noses however, this one is blunt, which allows room for both feet to be well planted up front.

In a lineup of surfboard models that are heavily inspired by Australian old-mals, the Hariot is the closest we get to the real thing. For this reason, it’s a little harder to ride/less forgiving than some of our other models, but there’s a certain beauty and reward that comes from riding boards with pinched rails, rolled bottoms, and hips, that you just can’t get out of easy-to-ride logs. The Hariot is a tried and true staple for us - a great favorite for myself, Harrison and Saxon, and one of the boards that best represents what we love most about Australian longboards.

For the purists, we suggest no nose concave, but the Hariot is available with or without it, depending on your interests. Roll in the nose rather than concave makes for a super responsive feel that’s hard to beat, but concave makes it easier.

Optimal Wave Size: Knee high to a bit over head.

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Board Feel: Involvement style Trad long board

Rail Shape: Pinched 50/50

Notes on Outline Shape: Narrow Blunt nose, wide point slightly behind centre and hippy tail.

**This surfboard is too large to ship via LTL Freight. FTL Freight will be upwards of $500+ to ship. Please email [email protected] if interested in a quote. May not be available for Alaska & Hawaii due to carrier limitations.**
